Our aim is to be the first recruitment focused social enterprise, dedicated to improving people's job seeking experience, whilst staying true to what actually keeps us conscious 🌎
Is both our favourite insult, and the catalyst for this business to succeed.
Friends of Friends started with a decade in the recruitment industry, and a simple idea: how can we use our CV peddling skills to not only sustain ourselves, but to align with our passions in a way that makes our day job meaningful?
We like dealing with people.
We're passionate about the natural world.
We don't like pretense, or the almost machiavellian way of information brokering that goes on in the current recruitment marketplace.
Our commitment to everyone we deal with is as follows:
We deal with humans, and so we speak like humans.
Henceforth:
If you're off your rocker, we'll tell you.
Recruitment 'consultants' aren't magic. Our job isn't knowing folk; being 'better at talking', or whatever other shite some trainee has been whipped into selling you on a cold monday morning.
It's speaking to enough folk in your industry, to know the bits you don't.
Recruitment is an oversaturated industry; we're not here to 'revolutionise', 'transcend' or whatever other adjective some preppy marketeer can come up with:
If this resonates at all, please feel free to get in touch.
